Man in court for Chichester jewellery shop robberies

A man is set to appear in court this morning after being charged with the burglary of two Chichester jewellery shops.

Barrie Greenhead, 31, from Havant has been charged with two counts of burglary and was due to appear at Worthing Magistrates today (Thursday, March 8).

He was arrested on suspicion of burglary following a break in at Gold Arts and Ernest Jones Jewellers on Wednesda, March 7.

A 25-year-old man from Chichester, also arrested on suspicion of burglary, has been bailed until 28 March, pending further enquiries.
