Man taken to hospital after camper van crashes off A259

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after his camper van crashed.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the 69-year-old’s white Mazda hit a number of stationary cars in a car garage off the A259 near Colworth at 9.52am on Wednesday (June 17).

The man, who was travelling towards Bognor, was taken to St Richard’s in Chichester.

Police have appealed for witnesses. Email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 403 of 17/06.
