The two men who died when crossing the same spot on the A27 in separate incidents have been named by police.
Sigitas Juozapaitis, 54, a Lithuanian national, died in the first accident on Friday, December 2.
He was hit by a white Ford Transit, driven by a 34-year-old man from Gosport, near to the Whyke roundabout.
Three days later, on Monday, December 5, 39-year-old Kenneth Sherwood, was killed when he was hit by a green Mazda MX5, driven by a 48-year-old man from Havant, between the Whyke and Stockbridge roundabouts.
Both were of no fixed abode.
Police are investigating both incidents. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting Operation Bantam (02/12) or Operation Balmoral (05/12).
