Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to motorcycle and car crash in an ‘accident blackspot’ in Westbourne.

A passer-by took these photos at 1.30pm today (April 10) after the bike and Volkswagen car collided in Aldsworth Common Road.

Tony Kerr, of Aldsworth Stud, said three fire crews, three police cars and an ambulance attended.

He added: “Local residents and a passing doctor attended to the motorcyclist, who was shaken and bruised but able to

walk away.

“Aldsworth Common Road was closed briefly. Residents have long believed that the speed limit of 40 mph should be reduced at this accident black spot.”
