New shop will create jobs in Chichester

MORE than 100 jobs will be created by the opening of a well known homeware shop in Chichester.

John Lewis will be opening in the city in the spring but is starting its recruitment drive now, and has 140 roles to fill.

They include sales assistants, specialist advisers, catering professionals who will work at the store at the Chichester Retail Park.

The Chichester John Lewis ‘at home’ will focus on furniture, furnishing accessories, homeware and home and electrical technology.

John Lewis recruitment manager Laura Berry said: “This is an exciting time for us and we are looking for people with a wide variety of skills and a positive can-do attitude.

“We need people who are enthusiastic team players, can demonstrate a passion for retail and can deliver an outstanding customer experience.

“With seven-day trading, we are recruiting for a broad range of roles and offer flexible employment contracts, both full and part-time.”
