Pupils at Oakwood School in Chichester marked the year of the Rooster with a day of Chinese-themed activities.
The children took part in a Tai Chi session with a visiting instructor, and learned how to paint Chinese characters and numbers.
They also created cherry blossom cards to mark the auspicious day.
The Pre-Prep pupils also had a go at eating rice, crispy seaweed and prawn crackers with chopsticks, and ended the day with some delicious fortune cookies.
Oakwood School aims to inspire a lifelong love of learning through a broad creative curriculum that challenges and engages. Located in a secure environment within the School, Pre-Prep pupils enjoy the use of the grounds and facilities including the indoor swimming pool, the sports hall, the performance hall, the dance studio, tennis courts and the woodland.
