The slogan ‘NEW ORDER TO CURB STREET DRINKING’ was picked up by Twitter user Alistair Coleman, who noted the wording could be misconstrued to suggest Echo and the Bunnymen would be ‘clamping down’ on those guilty of unruly behaviour.

One Twitter user asked to use a picture to promote New Order at a concert the next day.
