Olympic torch coming to Chichester, Bognor and Midhurst

The Olympic flame will be passing through Chichester, as well as Midhurst, Bognor Regis and a host of villages in the Observer area on its journey to London.

The torch relay will arrive in Portsmouth on July 16, before heading to Petersfield,

Rogate, Midhurst, Easebourne, Tillington and Petworth. The prestigious flame will then move on to Duncton, Chichester, North Bersted, South Bersted, Bognor Regis, Woodgate, Westergate and Arundel before being taken to Worthing.

The London 2012 Olympic torch relay begins on 19 May, 2012, at Land’s End and ends 70 days later on 27 July at the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium.

For full details of the route, see this week’s Observer (November 10, 2011).
