We are fortunate at Chestnut Tree House to have a low staff turnover.
However, as we are expanding our services to meet demand for children’s hospice care, we have a need to recruit new staff.
After designing and placing an advert in local newspapers and jobs websites, we await the response from applicants.
For some posts we are inundated with replies, while for the more specialist roles, we have just a few applications as we require very specific skills from the successful person.
We create a shortlist and organise an interview day and hopefully, by the end of it, we have the perfect person for that role.
It is always a pleasure to have new staff join the team. One thing is for sure – the people who work at Chestnut Tree House always have some things in common. They are dedicated to the cause, and will do whatever it takes to make a difference to the life of the children and families we care for.
