Pedestrian hospitalised after Chichester roundabout crash

A PEDESTRIAN is in hospital with suspected broken bones after an accident on the Northgate roundabout in Chichester.

Officers at the scene said they were working out what happened after they were called around 1pm today (November 23).

Police were called by the fire brigade as the accident happened directly opposite the headquarters of West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

The accident involved a black Honda Jazz and a purple Citroën Grand C4 Picasso.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital and one of the drivers was also treated for shock.

Police are investigating how the accident happened.
