YEAR six pupils at a Chichester junior school picked a prom theme for their leavers’ party.

The children were saying goodbye to Central CE Junior School, in Orchard Street, before they left for secondary school.

Local photographer Gareth Roelofse set up a photo booth with fun props for the children to dress up in for pictures with their friends.

The evening started with an awards ceremony, hosted by the teachers, followed by a Pimm’s reception for the parents. The children danced the night away at a disco provided by Cloud and Sun Mobile Disco.

Susan Clark, outgoing chairman of the Friends of Central CE Junior School, said: “It was a particularly special event for me as my daughter was one of the year six leavers at the party and as we will be leaving the school, this was the last event I organised.”
