THERE were plenty of fun and games on offer at Tozer House’s annual fundraising Strawberry Fair.
Visitors had the chance to put ‘victims’ in the stocks in return for a charity donation towards the Chichester facility’s considerable running costs.
More than £120 was raised in the event, which featured a Pimm’s Raffle, tombola, plus a wide range of food including its burger stall to home-made strawberry scones.
The centre in Tozer Way supports around a dozen residents with mental disabilities and last year celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Douglas Fleming, one of the event organisers (pictured sitting in right of the picture), said: “This place is like a little oasis for the residents here and it is vital that we keep it going.
“The weather didn’t really help us, but we are pleased with how it’s gone and glad to have raised as much as we did which will be going towards paying for day trips for the residents here.”
