Chichester City council meeting to include presentation on local plan

CHICHESTER City Council is set to hold its annual parish meeting on Wednesday (April 10).

The meeting, which begins at 6.30pm, will include an overview of the year by councillors before a discussion on the draft local plan.

There will be presentations by Hyland Edgar Driver, the city council’s commissioned consultant which has produced an impact study on the proposed development around the city, and Richard Cole from the Community Assets Project.

Designed to give residents and councillors more information before the city council formally submits its views, the meeting is separate to consultation events being organised by Chichester District Council.
