BOSHAM Community Preschool raised its rating to ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted inspection report.
The preschool, in St. Nicholas’ Church Hall, Brooks Lane, has boosted its rating from its previous rating of ‘requires improvement’ in 2010.
Nicki Webb, the preschool manager, said: “We are really pleased with our Ofsted grade which we feel was well deserved. The preschool has been running for over 30 years in Bosham.
“We have improved the setting so much since the last inspection, we now have a secure free flow outside area, more toys and equipment for the children to enjoy. It was good that the inspector picked up on the children’s confidence and the great relationships between staff, children and their families.
“It’s a great team of staff who work hard using their enthusiasm to make the children’s early years fun.”
The new inspection report, published at the beginning of January, said: “Children thoroughly enjoy their time at the pre-school. Children of all ages are happy and confident owing to good relationships with staff.
“The children are welcomed into a warm, friendly setting, where they are valued and included, so are ready to learn.”
