THE FUNERAL of Rory Minns is due to take place at West Dean Gardens tomorrow (January 15).
The 25-year-old, from Tangmere, was hit by a train at the Woodhorn Lane crossing, in Oving, on New Year’s Eve.
Last week, people paid tribute to the popular gardener who ‘touched so many people’s lives’.
Rory’s family has asked people to come in bright colours and bring pot plants instead of cut flowers.
The funeral is set to start at midday and take place in the visitor centre.
Rory’s sister Tacey Minns, 23, said: “He was always polite and outgoing and would take the time to stop and chat with anybody to give advice about their gardens. He just got on with everybody.”
