The volunteer Selsey Lifeboat crew came to the aid of a boat which had broken down close to the Outer Mulberry off Pagham on Saturday.

The inshore lifeboat was launched at 10.14am after a request by UK Coastguard following an emergency call from the stricken vessel.

After checking the welfare of the sole occupant on board, the 14ft Orkney day boat was towed back to the beach at Aldwick.
