Selsey man charged with weekend thefts


A SUSPECTED THIEF was due to appear in court today (July 31) after thefts in Selsey at the weekend.

Neville McNair, 48, of East Street, Selsey, has been charged with two counts of theft from motor vehicles and four counts of attempted thefts from motor vehicles.

He was due to appear before Chichester Magistrates’ Court today (July 31).

He is accused of stealing items from cars parked in Latham Road and Croft Road and attempting to steal property from vehicles in North Road, Latham Road and Elm Grove on Sunday (July 27).
