TWO development plans got a seal of approval from Selsey Town Council last night (August 13).
The first, an application for an Asda store, petrol station, hotel, restaurant and 159 homes, was supported by the council.
The plans are for Park Farm, at the entrance to Selsey.
A second application for a neighbouring field, for 110 homes, was also supported by the majority of councillors.
There were dozens of residents at the meeting, with many objecting to the plans.
The final decision will be made by Chichester District Council in the coming months.
For a full report on the meeting see next week’s Observer (August 21).
