SPRING has sprung at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum with the arrival of this rare black lamb.

Just a handful of black Southdowns Sheep are born every year, and the museum in Singleton was lucky enough to have its own.

Museum director Richard Pailthorpe is hoping visitors will be flocking to see the new arrival.

He said ideas from visitors for names would be welcomed.
