WITH their smartphone shortbread and marzipan mouse pops, eight promising young entrepreneurs are aiming for international success through the Young Enterprise scheme.

Seaford College pupils Keaton Smout, Jack Jamieson, Wolf Labeji, Olly Hunt, Sam Lowndes, Tom Newman and Freddie Miller, otherwise known as team Summit, have drawn up their own financial strategies, business plan, branding and marketing campaign in a bid to make waves in the healthy food industry.

Their brand new cook book, Kidz Cook! is now available to buy. Filled with recipes designed by Seaford prep school pupils, it’s flying off the shelves.

“It is already selling well,” said Keaton. “And it teaches children a necessary life skill.”

“We are all really proud of what we have achieved,” added Tom. “We’ve really learned a lot from one another.”

Thanks to their brilliant communication and team work, team Summit are proof that experience is not necessary for success.

Summit will market and sell their cookbook over the course of the academic year.

They have already won the first stage of the Young Enterprise scheme and are now hoping to make it to the finals in Europe.
