A MAN from Sweden has been summoned to appear in court on March 31 over the death of Emsworth cyclist Howard Plumb.

Bo Lundmark, 54, Blakullevagen, Umea, Sweden, was due to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 29, charged with causing death by careless driving, but the case was adjourned to allow him to travel to England.

Mr Plumb died of serious head injuries when he was in collision with a Honda Jazz car driven by Lundmark at Knight’s Hill, Charlton, near Chichester on Saturday, July 5, last year.

Lundmark was served with a court summons to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on March 31, though he can ask to change the date.
