Sussex faces strong gales tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday October 21) as the remnants of Hurricane Gonzalo hit.
The county will have less of a battering than further north in the UK, but winds are still expected to reach 40-50mph.
The Met Office is also forecasting light rain which, coupled with the gusting conditions, could make driving conditions difficult.
It is estimated the wind will pick up during the morning and peak mid-afternoon.
On Wednesday (October 22) the wind will disappear and the forecast is for a cloudy day with temperatures dropping to around 9degC.
Bermudans are currently clearing up after a direct hit from Hurricane Gonzalo downed power lines, damaged buildings and caused flooding on the tiny Atlantic territory.
