POLICE investigating the murder of former Chichester woman Pennie Davis have made three further arrests.
A 22 year-old man and a 28 year-old woman, both from the New Forest, were both arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder on Wednesday. Both remain in custody.
In addition a man has been arrested on suspicion of the supply of Class A drugs.
Mother-of-five Pennie was found dead in a field in the New Forest by her husband with multiple stab wounds.
Yesterday’s arrests brings the total number of people arrested in connection with her murder to eight.
On Monday Justin Robertson, 36, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court charged with the murder of the 47-year-old, who used to live in Chichester.
A 28-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder has been released on bail until Monday, November 3.
A 24-year-old woman charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice has been bailed until October 1.
A 22-year-old man, previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed, as has a 37-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
