A SELSEY home care company has received glowing feedback after an inspection.
Platinum Homecare, in Ellis Square, was visited by the Care Quality Commission on September 2.
The report said: “Every one of the people spoken with told us that their care was personalised to their needs and that they were happy with the service they received from the agency.”
The report said the inspectors saw plenty of evidence to back up these comments.
During the announced visit, inspectors spoke with eight out of the 57 who received care, or their relatives.
They also spoke with five care workers and the manager. The company passed every criteria upon which it was tested.
The report added: “Before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes.
“Where people did not have the capacity to consent, the provider acted in accordance with legal requirements.”
It also said: “Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people’s safety and welfare.”
