MORE than 50 local traders and dozens of food-fanatics are enjoying the last day of the Chichester Local Food Fare.
Running over three days, the event has bought some of the finest Sussex producers to the city streets to give people the chance to find out about local food on their doorstep.
The stalls have been set up on Chichester’s East Street and North Street.
David Pritchard, from West Country Cheese, said: “We have been doing really well.”
“We did the Christmas fare, but were invited back for this one. People have recognised us from there.
There were stalls from Slindon Bakery, Maison Blanc, O’Hagan’s Sausages and The Real Burger Kitchen. Tullens Fruit Farm and Sussex Gold also had stalls and the Continental Bakery and a good spread of bread, cakes and pastries.
Sarah Tebb from Bills said: “There has been a really nice atmosphere out on the streets.”
The majority of stall holders said their businesses has been doing really well.
Shopper Caroline Tuck from Portsmouth said she had bought a few things from the stalls.
“I didn’t know it was on today but it has been really nice to walk around and try different bits,” she said. “I’ve bought some cheese.
“It’s a really nice environment, especially as the sun has come out.”
