Playground fire in Selsey

ARSONISTS were blamed for a playground fire in Selsey yesterday (Wednesday, October 31).

Firefighters were called to East Beach Park, in East Beach Road, Selsey, shortly before 4pm.

Wooden playground equipment had been set on fire and was well alight by the time the crew from Selsey arrived.

The equipment was completely destroyed by the fire.

The incident was left with police.
