Man dies in Arundel car blaze

A man has died after becoming trapped in his burning car in Arundel.

The man from Arundel in his 20s was travelling eastbound on the A27 near to the White Swan when his Peugeot 106 collided with a Peugeot 206 at 9.25pm on Thursday February 10.

The 206 was travelling westbound at the time.

The driver of the 206, who was also in her 20s, suffered from minor injuries and was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment.

Firefighters battled for more than an hour to control the blaze.
