TRAVEL: M27 closed following three-car accident

The M27 has been partially closed westbound after an accident involving a lorry and several cars, causing drivers serious delays.

Two lanes of the westbound carriageway of the M27 are currently shut off, with traffic at a standstill between Junction 12 with the M275 and Junction 11 for Fareham.

At least one person has been injured in the incident, which fire crews are currently attending.

An air ambulance is also believed to have landed at the scene.

Drivers from Chichester towards Portsmouth can expect severe delays to their journey.

Diversions are currently in place via the A27.
