TRAVEL NEWS: Train delays still ongoing

Train disruptions are still ongoing this morning (Thursday, May 26) due to high levels of conductor and driver sickness.

According to Southern Railway, delays this morning include:

The 8.32am and 9.32am Southampton Central trains to Brighton are again cancelled, due to a shortage of train conductors.

The 9.06am train from Chichester to Bognor Regis is cancelled due to a shortage of train crew.

The 9:39am Bognor Regis to Barnham is cancelled, also due to a shortage of train crew.

The 10.06am Bognor Regis to Littlehampton is also cancelled.

Southern said rail tickets are being accepted on bus services operated by Brighton and Hove buses between Shoreham and Brighton (Route 2) and between Brighton and Eastbourne via Seaford (Route 12), and on bus services operated by Metrobus between Redhill and Reigate.

Southern only ticket holders may also travel with Great Western Railway on train services between Redhill and Reigate.
