THE FAMILY of Jasmine Elkasmi has paid tribute to a ‘beautiful and intelligent girl’.

The 16-year-old, of Carlton Avenue, Rose Green, was a passenger in a Vauxhall Corsa car travelling south on the A285 at Halnaker which left the road and overturned at 6.45am on Saturday (September 21).

Two other 16-year-old girl passengers who were also in the car were seriously injured.

Her family said: “Jazzy was a beautiful and intelligent girl, loved by so many. She had a real passion for living her life to the full. She was so caring and considerate of others, always making them laugh with her wonderful sense of humour.

“There was never a situation in which she could not find the funny side and even though she has left us far too early, she will carry on living within our hearts and memories.

“We are so proud and blessed to have had her as a part of our family. She will never be forgotten. She will always be a loving daughter, sister, auntie, granddaughter and friend.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everyone for their kindness, support and their amazing tributes.”

A 17-year-old boy from Chichester arrested in connection with the crash has been released on police bail.
