Two arrested after three men attacked in Chichester

Police are appealing for help after three men were attacked in Chichester.

A 25-year-old man from Chichester had a tooth knocked out in the brawl, and was one of three men to be treated by paramedics at the scene having been punched in the face.

The incident happened in New Park Road, at 2.20am on April 30.

The other two victims were a 23-year-old man from Chidham and a 27-year-old man, also from Chichester who both received slight facial injuries.

Detective Constable Jason Vickers said: “It would appear the fight occurred after two group of men became embroiled in an argument.

“Police were quick to respond and following a search of the area two suspects were arrested. “I am appealing for witnesses, particularly a female who was believed to have been with one of the groups.”

Two men from Chichester aged 20 and 21 have been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and released on police bail pending further enquiries until June 8.
