Two elderly people injured in A27 crash

Two elderly people were injured in a collision on the A27 this afternoon.

Police attended the incident involving a lorry and a car at Hambrook at 2.10pm.

One lane of the dual carriageway eastbound was blocked and traffic queues built up.

Sussex Police said two elderly people in the car were injured, but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
