UPDATE: Driver suffers head injury following A29 collision

An air ambulance and critical care paramedics were called to a collision between a car and a lorry yesterday which left one person with a head injury, SECAmb have confirmed.

A man in his 60s was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester by road ambulance following the collision near Slindon College at around 3.45pm, an ambulance service spokeman said.

Police said the man was one of the drivers involved.

The road was at the junction with Shellbridge Road and re-opened at 5.23pm.
