A second man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of 78-year-old Brenda James whose body was found buried in Goodwood.
The 46 year old, from Ipswich, Suffolk, was arrested last night (Sunday 27 March) and is currently in police custody.
The arrest follows the charging of Brenda James’ son, Neale James, on Friday March 25, with her murder.
The 50-year-old, who lived with his mother at Lakeside Caravan Park appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Saturday where he was remanded in custody until tomorrow (March 29) when he is due at Lewes Crown Court.
The body of Mrs James, pictured above, was found last Thursday (24 March) in woodland near Pilleygreen Hill within the Goodwood estate in Chichester.
A post mortem revealed she had died from a head injury.
