Urgent pleas for dog food, cages, volunteers and newspaper have been put forward by Brent Lodge Bird and Wildlife Trust in Sidlesham.
The rescue centre is struggling as the number of ill hedgehogs being admitted keeps rising.
Volunteers have even had to squeeze cages in to shop and office space as they are running out of places to keep the hedgehogs.
Danny Dawes, from the trust, said: “If any one has any spare dog food, old newspapers or even any spare time so they might be able to come in and help, it would be greatly appreciated. We really are at crisis point.”
