VIDEO: Campaign for a revamped skatepark in Selsey

A TEENAGER from Selsey is working with the town council to revamp the existing skatepark at East Beach.

As part of the campaign, Curtis Miller, 19, has set up a company SPACEMAN Projects, which works with local councils to renovate public spaces for the community.

To fundraise for a new and improved skatepark, Curtis is holding a BMX, skating and scooter competition as part of Selsey Lifeboat Week.

On Sunday, August 11, youngsters can battle it out to win a series of prizes – and all the money raised will go towards the new skatepark.

The event will be held at the skatepark at East Beach, which will be part of the festivities on Lifeboat Green.
