A GIANT new IMAX screen officially opened at Chichester Cineworld on Thursday night - a week ahead of schedule.
Fans of the silver screen will now be able to see all of the big new releases on IMAX, which will also be showing films in 3D.
Cinema bosses say an IMAX is not just a bigger screen, but a far better picture, sound and complete experience - though it does come at an extra cost.
Viewers can expect to pay £4.70 more to watch a 2D film on IMAX and £5.70 for a 3D film.
Watching a 2D film on IMAX will cost an adult £14.40 at peak times and £13.10 at off peak times.
For 3D it’s £15.40 for an adult at peak times and £14.10 at off peak times.
For holders of the Unlimited Pass, which costs £16.40 a month, they will have to pay an extra £4.70 for a 2D film and £5.70 for 3D.
