POLICE were called to West Street, Chichester, this afternoon (February 18), after a pedestrian walked in front of a bus.
The police arrived at the scene in what was thought to be an accident between a female pedestrian and bus at 1.20pm, and were joined by the ambulance service and fire brigade.
However it seems the pedestrian who walked in front of a bus was uninjured – it was in fact a passenger who was injured by the impact of the bus braking.
However a policeman confirmed her injuries were minor.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were at the scene.
