EMSWORTH Maritime and Historical Trust is looking for a new volunteer.
A vacancy has become available for the post of co-ordinator for Emsworth Museum as the present administrator retires in June.
The applicant will be responsible for recording and caring for the museum’s artefacts representing Emsworth’s unique cultural heritage for the education, benefit and enjoyment of members of the public.
An inspirational person with an interest in local history, a good communicator and someone who would enjoy working as part of the team responsible for running a small independent museum is required.
The co-ordinator will be required at the museum for two sessions each week for most of the year.
The post is a voluntary one with an annual honorarium paid to cover expenses.
