Walberton home burgled

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the burglary of a Walberton home.

Sometime between 7pm and 8pm on February 23, a cottage in The Street was broken into by an upstairs window.

Once inside the property cash was taken along with car keys belonging to a Silver Citroen Xsara which was then driven off.

DC Della Squires said: “I am keen to talk to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on February 23 or has seen the stolen car being driven around or parked up in their street.

“If you information that could help us with our enquiries, then please call 101 quoting serial 1592 23/2 or leave an anonymous message with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

The vehicle stolen is a silver Citroen Xsara, registration LC54 VNK, which was later seen being driven along the A27 at Arundel.
