West Sussex County Council 2013 electoral candidates announced

MORE than 300 candidates will be contesting the West Sussex County Council elections on Thursday, May 2.

Nominations closed on Friday for all 71 county divisions, and were published today (Monday, April 8).

The current split of the council is: Conservatives 48, Liberal Democrats 18, Labour 3, one Independent and one UKIP.

Counting of the votes will take place on Friday, May 3. With all results published on the Observer’s website.
