Woman rescued after car crashes into house

FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a woman with her foot trapped under a car today (Friday, October 11).

The crew from Chichester was called to Henty Gardens shortly after 8.15am.

An elderly woman’s foot was trapped under a car after it crashed into the house.

However, the woman was released by paramedics before firefighters arrived.

A West Sussex Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said ‘minor constructional’ damage to the house was inspected by a building control officer.

The crew left the scene just before 8.40am.
