Whilst walking into town from Summersdale on Sunday morning with my elderly, slighty deaf husband, a child on a bicycle almost knocked him over from behind, followed by the father also riding a bicycle.
When my husband, who was visible shocked, remonstrated with the father, he became rather abusive and very rude.
Can I start a new campaign to run alongside the 20’s Plenty campaign: C.O.P. (Cyclists Off Pavements)? I have no objections to cyclists walking with their bicycles on the pavements but, please, do not ride on them.
