On December 27, I had a serious accident in the home which required a visit to St Richard’s Hospital.
I would now like to pay a tribute to the many people who have helped me on my road to recovery, starting with the two ambulance men: Tom Smith and Steve Bousfield, whose expertise and extreme kindness helped me initially.
The treatment I received at A&E and then my stay in Birdham Ward: the surgeon Mr Rao and his team, who performed an amazing operation.
Then the nurses and many assistants, who all worked efficiently and with compassion – this has been such a tremendous help to me.
So a very big heartfelt ‘thank you’ to St Richard’s Hospital.
How lucky we are to have you here!
