IS COUNCILLOR Hall a lone voice in his condemnation of Southern Water’s cavalier discharging of sewage into Chichester Harbour?
What about other councillors? What plans are there to rectify this situation once and for all? It seems the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.
We have development on a large scale happening all round the area, yet infrastructure to support this is ignored, as are calls for a freeze on development until this is sorted out.
The fact that oysters have been found by the district council containing e-coli bacteria from sewerage should be ringing alarm bells everywhere.
It is also disappointing that the Environment Agency appears to be supporting Southern Water in this matter.
This glorious natural feature of our region deserves better than this.
