Well done

I would like to firstly say we were concerned for the drivers of the two waste-water tankers that crashed on the A286 (Observer, February 14), and secondly I would like to praise that one of the drivers did stop from running over the badger.

That road holds bad memories for me after being called out two years ago at 6am in the morning to find an entire badger family wiped out at the side of the road, obviously worming on the roadside but all three (mum and her two little cubs) all dead, run over by someone.

So, sorry Southern Water for the inconvenience but well done to the driver who has allowed a badger safe passage back home to his or her little cubs waiting there.
