Life is one big learning curve and to celebrate, adult learners from across the county came together for a special presentation and celebration of their achievements at the Avisford Park Hotel, Walberton.
Reporter Clare Hawkin spoke to some students about their courses and how important it is to keep studying.
It's never too late to learn something new. Across the county thousands of people are taking adult courses.
Whether you want to learn a new language, refresh your maths skills, or try something a little more exotic such as fencing or wine appreciation, there is something to suit everyone.
People of all ages, from all walks of life, enrol on the wide variety of courses available.
The learners' day is a chance to celebrate learning in all its forms and acknowledge its power to change people's lives for the better.
