Widespread appeals finally saved the day for members of West Chiltington Dramatic Society.
They were desperately seeking a bride in her wedding dress to complete the cast of Plaza Suite, by Neil Simon, to be performed in West Chiltington Village Hall on Thursday May 22, Friday May 23 and Saturday May 24 at 7.30pm.

And then enter Perdita McShan.

"We were so happy to hear from Perdita. She is just perfect", said Judith Dredge, the director of Plaza Suite. Perdita McShan got married at Gretna Green.

Perdita said: "I'm delighted to have the opportunity to show off my wedding dress again and thrilled to be appearing with such a wonderful cast. My part is quite small but I do make an impact."

Possibly better known as a film starring Walter Matthau, the play features three diverse sets of guests who successively occupy Suite 719 of the Plaza Hotel in New York.

Judith added: "Each act has a different feel, the whole play combining comedy, pathos, seduction and outright slapstick, so there should be something for everyone to enjoy."

Tickets priced £7 are available at the door or by calling 01798 812065.
