AN overturned car was found abandoned on the Steyning Road, Shoreham, just before 12.30am this morning (Friday, July 3).
The car was off to one side of the road but there was nobody inside.
Firefighters from Shoreham, Lancing and Worthing attended and searched for the driver using a thermal imaging camera but no-one was found.
They made the car safe and handed the incident over to Sussex Police.
