A SKYDIVER is preparing to compete with her new team in a bid to represent her country.
Shoreham-born-and-bred Julia Foxwell, pictured right, is now a member of Team Satori, whose members are hoping to be selected to represent Britain at the world championships in 2010.

The team is currently training for an event called World Challenge, at the end of March, which will be held in the world's largest indoor skydiving windtunnel, in Bedford.

Julia said the team had set themselves the goal of competing in the world championships.

She added: "We see this competition as an ideal training ground to provide us with the experience in competition against teams from other countries.

"The actual team, four of us, will be performing the same moves we would do in the air. It is a large event for the skydiving community."

Julia added teams from across the world would be competing in the competition, including the United States, and this would mark the start of Team Satori's training for 2010.
